The ash catcher itself is nice and cool. It cools down the smoke pretty good. Unfortunately, it’s based on such a small connection point, it’s weakest there. My medium size dog was wagging his tail and snapped it right off. Perhaps if it was a cone it might be stronger. Unless you are the safest person in the world with no pets or other people in your home, this might be good. But, it’s just not.
